I’m asked a lot, what the energy downloads I get on the regular (with energy headaches often accompanying them) mean? The other day, I was asked again with the query, “Is it like refueling the gas tank?” And I replied without thinking, “No, it’s more like adding colors to my palette.”
With each energy download or attunement (Reiki lingo), I receive more healing vibrations available to my healing repertoire. I expand my ability, I expand what healing energies I can send or channel, I add more notes to my instruments of healing. This is true for anyone receiving new energies, new ideas, or new consciousness. How these energies take form depends on what the person uses the energies for—healing, creating, writing, inventing, etc.
We’ve been painting our world in a lot of gray tones in the past few years. How would you like to color your world in the present moment and in future moments? If you have access to an adult (or any age) coloring book, take some time to play with coloring in the black and white and gray tones with vibrancy, with beauty, with variety, and diversity. Healing is all about vibrant vibrations and colors are just another form of vibrations that we can use to color our life and world. I love to color in mandalas, which help to balance, integrate, and expand our energies. Here's one I love for fall, called Autumn Joy. Print it and have fun coloring, painting, or penciling it in!
You can also use colors in energy healing. See my Painting Your Aura video here.
May your Autumn be full of rich, vibrant colors, even amidst the gray!
